Last minute DIY Chocolates (vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free)

For these chocolates, all you need is some molds, left over chocolate bars and a few nuts. The best for this recipe is the cheapest chocolate you will find as these will tend to be more soft and tender to bite into.

For the molds, you don’t need to buy the super fancy chocolate molds cause these are fancy and they don’t have a lot of designs. The best are ice cube molds but my preference are silicone molds as it is easier to clean after use!

For about 24 chocolates

Ingredients

  • Chocolate of your choice ( at least 200g if you are only using one type of chocolate)
  • Boiling water
  • nuts of your choice ( I choose salted ovenroasted almonds, unsalted cashew nuts and crushed hazernuts)
  • Creativity 😛

Instructions

  1. In a pan, boil some water. When the water reached a boil, turn off the heat.
  2. In a bowl, break the chocolate into small pieces and put it in the pan. The water height should be lower than the bowl as water SHOULDN’T touch the chocolate.
  3. Once your chocolate or chocolates are melted( if you are using different chocolates, make sure to melt them in different bowls and use one colour at the time. This will avoid the chocolate cooling down and hardening).
  4. Now the rest of these steps are up to you and your creativity!

If you are making chocolates with nuts, pour the chocolate halfway into your molds then add the nuts and cover the nuts with some chocolate. This is to seal the chocolate in the chocolate.
